Limited edition vinyl reissue of a rare and weird Munich band’s sole 1970 release. While the English titles are deliciously absurd (“Krishna’s Golden Dope Shop”), these primitive, jammy Krautrockers were hardly a joke band. “Road to Laramy” is a loping TV western-theme instro with an undercurrent of grimy urban intensity that explodes when the wasted vocals finally kick in, while the eighteen-minute “Aluminium Wind” is an atonal meander through sonic darkness, briefly illuminated by creepy flute and moans. File under: bad trip at the beer garden.
