Free Dumb Angel surf event in SF, December 30

Friends,
On Friday, December 30 (yes, the night before New Years Eve) Brian Chidester and I will be having a FREE party at Mollusk Surf Shop and Art Gallery (corner of 47th and Irving, in the Sunset District, San Francisco). Show starts at 7:00 p.m. and goes 'til whenever...
The art show portion will feature the Early '60s work of John Severson and Rick Griffin (both were working at SURFER magazine in the early days), Mike Dormer (Hot Curl, Shrimpenstein and the opening title painting in MUSCLE BEACH PARTY), Frank Holmes (the Beach Boys' 1966 Smile album cover and booklet drawings), Thomas Campbell (the cool contemporary Surf filmaker who did SPROUT and Paul Frank's 2005 summer line) and John McCambridge (who runs Mollusk). As of right now, we have live Surf instrumental music by the Boardwalkers scheduled -- we're working on confirming that -- lead guitarist Dan Valenti, of course, was in the Unclaimed back in the '80s. There will also be projected Surf movies onto Mollusk's huge walls and a light show to boot (and snacks)
SO... mark your Calendar ahead of time for the Dumb Angel #4: All Summer Long San Francisco launch party, Friday, December 30, 2005 at 7 p.m.
